I really loved Dragon Age: Absolution. It’s beautifully animated, the actions sequences are well executed with stunning design, the characters are great (especially Miriam), the story is really good and well-paced, and the voice actors all do an incredible job. I have zero complaints. I was expecting mediocre at best, and was absolutely blown away by how hugely enjoyable it is.
Heroscape is a tabletop strategy game that was a huge part of my childhood, and after being discontinued 12 years ago, it’s coming back—but only if it gets 8000 backers on Hasbro’s crowdfunding website. I don’t have a ton of followers, but if I can convince even one person to help resurrect Heroscape, I’ll be happy. Below is a quick summary of Heroscape’s lore and gameplay.
Fair warning, this is what I’ll be talking about until the campaign ends on November 15th. In short this is our one chance to bring back a fantastic board game and I really want it to happen. The first hurdle is the biggest, but should this succeed, Heroscape has the potential to be bigger and better than ever.

If you don’t know, Heroscape is a tabletop strategy miniatures game with fully modular terrain designed to build 3D battlefields. It’s meant to be a more accessible alternative to other expandable games like Warhammer and DnD. No need to build the models, just open up the box, build a battlefield, draft an army, and get to rolling dice.
If you’re a fan of tabletop strategy, rpg, and miniature games, seriously consider backing this. I realize it’s $250 and not everyone has that kind of cash laying around, but considering the insane amount of stuff in here, it’s absolutely worth it. There will literally never be a better deal from companies like Games Workshop, and most of their good deals don’t even come with everything you need to simply sit down and play.

Every Monday I will give you guys a “Homebrew of the Week” this is the first one. The Grove Guardian is a really cool creature that I’ve used in my own campaign as pets for elves. They worked really well, and they look very beautiful and majestic. This was made by JoshTheGent on Pinterest, go check him out he makes awesome stuff!
